CARLIN 1937-2008

George Carlin the man who made stating the obvious an art form and the first ever to host Saturday Night Live. He is probably the first celebrity who’s passing has saddened me since John Lennon.

He was on my “gotta see before I die” list ever since I missed a show of his in Delaware years back. I told myself then that I would see him as soon as I heard of his next show within a couple hundred miles. Never did happen but at least I still can enjoy his work.
